Evidence and Documents Laid before the Committee on Alleged German Outrages.

Reproduced on these pages is the online version of the above 293 page book which records the depositions of the hundreds of eyewitnesses to "Alleged German Outrages". These events took place mainly during the invasion of Belgium by the German army in the summer and autumn of 1914.
Recorded are the statements considered by Lord Bryce and his committee who were commissioned by the government to investigate alleged German war crimes. This publication, sometimes referred to as the 'Appendix to the Bryce Report' was published in 1915 under the authority of HMSO and was available to the general public at the price of sixpence.

Any links you find in the text like this: pic1 are pictures of the Towns mentioned and are added by us and are not in the original text.

Note:

Going to print it out? This appendix document is much larger than the Bryce Report itself;   it will take about 210 sides of A4  (with the margins set to the minimum) to print it all.
