Severely Wounded, Biddulphsburg, 29th May 1900. - On this Day the Boer took up positions on two hills, Biddulph's Berg and Tafel Berg.  Ferocious grass fires ignited as the battle progressed, many wounded men who had been felled by Boer rifle fire were now burnt, unable to escape the grass fires.
