The Boer Revolt 1880-1881
Note: This period is not commemorated with a campaign
medal. The campaign was a failure for the British, but was still
certainly deserving of at least a clasp to either the South Africa Medal
1877, or the
Cape of Good Hope General Service Medal. Anyway, a specific medallic
commemorative never happened, but a number of men who served in
this campaign would eventually be in receipt of one of the
aforementioned medals for other service anyway.
