SIR,
    I HAVE the honour to inform you that on the 2nd inst. the enemy attacked my fortified post at Fommanah, and were repulsed with loss. Captain A. W. Duncan, R.A., and subsequently Lieutenant-Colonel Colley (2nd Queen's Regiment), were in command of the post during the action. I enclose a list of casualties.
